today's song was the result of a random surfing experience on myspace. i don't even know how it happened, but i'm sure glad it did! this group is out of the upper northwest and they sure do know how to rock it! Kickball is made up of a lady drummer, and two guys on guitars. they make me want to get up and dance around and jam out in general!
this song is called polarbears and was the first song of theirs that i listened to. they sort of remind me a little bit of Thao with the Get Down Stay Down...a little bit.
i couldn't find the lyrics to this song anywhere, but that doesn't matter because you'll hopefully really like them right off the bat too!

i was first introduced to Smoosh about a year ago by my friend, Lindsay. Smoosh is comprised of two bopper sisters: Asya (16) and Chloe (14). but, they started their band (appropriately named Smoosh), when Asya was 12 and Chloe was 10. what makes these musical prodigies so cool is that, not only are they super talented, but they're also super successful! they've already toured nationally and internationally as well as headlined for major bands like Death Cab for Cutie (who's drummer trained them both, Pearl Jam, Sleater-Kinney (hott!!!), Jimmy Eat World, The Presidents of the United States of America, and Nada Surf among others...
in other words, these girls \--/ ROCK \--/!!!!
