If you're interested in being a guest blogger, there's really no real rhyme or reason to it. It's mostly a free-write for the majority of those that post regularly. However, if you're a creature that craves structure, here are some guidelines/suggestions:
1. Write about how you became introduced to that particular song/artist/group
2. Why that particular song strikes a chord with you
3. If possible, a video clip from youtube.com, or an audio clip from songza.com or projectplaylist.com or imeem.com
4. Lyrics for the song (if applicable)
5. A picture of yourself that you like, as well as a myspace/webpage link (optional)
6. If you have any websites available for that particular artist/group that you think people would be interested in checking out (official websites, myspace sites, etc...)
Once you're done, just email your blog (in either a word document or a regular email, whichever you feel most comfortable with) and we'll make sure it gets posted as soon as we can. If you have problems finding audio/visual links to your song, don't worry, we can work on helping you out, just be sure to let us know!
