How Would It Be :: Ellis

Hi folks - I think I've already posted a song by Ellis within the last few weeks, but she's coming through Columbus, OH, where I surrently reside, on Tuesday so I'm in a Ellis place! The song I'm posting is called "How Would It Be" and I think it's one of her best songs - the first time I heard it I was floored. The following is a low-budget video Ellis made to go with the song in part to inspire the video contest she's holding (see more info on that below). At any rate, enjoy the song and its message and check out some of Ellis' other stuff - she's a wonderfully genuine and talented indie artist well worth listening to and supporting.

The following is taken from a youtube post:
*Ellis and her crew at Rubberneck Records are hosting a music video contest! The winners receive 5 signed copies of Ellis' upcoming recording BREAK THE SPELL.

They decided to kick things off with their own home-grown non-professional video (made for $45.48 including important items such as coffee and costumes) on software that came with Terri's laptop.

Although they had fun making this video, they're guessing you can do better!

For more information about the video contest, please visit:

Much peace,
sums

oh ellis. I like this song too. It makes me think of the first time I saw her, when we drove six hours round-trip in a snowstorm... you could cut the sexual tension in that coffee shop with a knife! it was crazy. the video is pretty funny, too. oh, minneapolis, with your one train line that just travels up and down all day...
