this post isn't gonna be a fancy as all the rest b/c i finally got my thesis edits back and now i gotta get my butt in gear! yikes! so, here goes:
i was first introduced to Smoosh about a year ago by my friend, Lindsay. Smoosh is comprised of two bopper sisters: Asya (16) and Chloe (14). but, they started their band (appropriately named Smoosh), when Asya was 12 and Chloe was 10. what makes these musical prodigies so cool is that, not only are they super talented, but they're also super successful! they've already toured nationally and internationally as well as headlined for major bands like Death Cab for Cutie (who's drummer trained them both, Pearl Jam, Sleater-Kinney (hott!!!), Jimmy Eat World, The Presidents of the United States of America, and Nada Surf among others...
in other words, these girls \--/ ROCK \--/!!!!
the following song of theirs is the first one i heard and i hope you all enjoy! the first video is the one their dad made for their song, and the second is a live performance on the jimmy kimmel show!

yeah! rock on, right? except i think she is 14 now....but she was 10 when they first started :)
i think she was 6 when they started, actually :)
